Case study: a community information site with frequent updates, photo galleries, download section and a forum. The web site and forum share the same database, allowing users to use the same login information on both.
We were asked to integrate the traditional art of the Dene into the project, so we came up with a light design, we provided photos of the surrounding area and mathed the DCI logo with the general aspect of the website. Another request brought to our attention was the ability of the website to load fast, as it addresses communities with poor internet access.
This is a work in progress. We are now in the process of uploading content into the website and fine-tuning the forum for the official launch of www.deneculture.org .
