Cleaning the dust

Hidden in a drawer, Andy’s old photo archives were hiding from prying eyes. He likes to say that he did not know photography ‘back then’. Now ‘back then’ means anything between 10 and 20 years ago, and that’s a lot for a guy wandering the streets with a camera and nothing much to do. Met with positive criticism from fellow photographes, www.andix.org is now up and running for everyone to contemplate and enjoy. We think Andy was influenced by Alec Soth and Todd Hido – he actually had an epiphany moment seeing the work of the two photographers. But hey. It’s a photo gallery, you might as well want to take a look.

With the HRHF Auction ended, one of the two websites we offered has been sold. We are still waiting for the lucky bidder to call and meet us for the preliminary discussion. Remember, the offer is only valid for 6 months, starting April 26th. Of course October sounds like plenty of time, but said time flies, and we’d be really sorry to see you go, dear potential / future customer.

We are proud to announce our participation in the Hay River Hospital Foundation auction. The event starts today at 9AM, and you can bid on the item listed until April 26 at 9PM. There’s a lot of interesting stuff for sale. We are in with two products – a basic, simple, internet presence website and an advanced website with sales capabilities – you can find us under the “Business and Office” section. It would be nice to know that we can help, but this game needs two players, so it’s your turn now to start bidding. Ice Break?

With temperatures in the plus range, we’re expecting some ice movements soon enough here in the North. Not that we’re happy about it, with the global warming and all. But it’s frustrating to shovel an entire driveway knowing that in two days everything is going to be melt and gone. Ask us? We’d love some more winter. But if all else fails we might as well photoshop some cold onto a photo, for the fun of it.
